About Scott Shields

I'm a freelance public relations and communications specialist with more than 30 years of experience.

I worked as a writer and editor for four newspapers and two large public utility companies in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. I also taught advertising part-time at Fairmont State University from 1990-96.

I am a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and Fairmont State University, where I majored in English and journalism.
